Terms
- Minimum engagement £2,250.
- Rate is set by committed portfolio size at contract. If delivered volume falls short of the committed band, the engagement reprices to the band achieved.
- Tranche delivery permitted. Splitting delivery does not change the rate.
- Rates hold 90 days from date of quote.
- Payment: 50% on commitment, 50% on delivery. Staged per tranche above 50 buildings.
- Priority delivery, two working days, up to five buildings: +£750.
- No VAT is chargeable. The price quoted is the amount payable.

What does an assessment include?
25-year Green Book DCF, self-consumption modelled against your actual load, and four engineering flags: wind, structure, DNO and planning. Compared against twelve months of metered output from operating commercial rooftop PV. Formal structural clearance, detailed design, DNO application and procurement are out of scope. Do you assess portfolios?
Yes. Every building gets a full dossier. Register interest via the waiting list and tell us roughly how many roofs you are weighing.
Is Stage1Energy independent of installers?
Yes. Stage1Energy does not install, procure, or design systems. No panels sold, no design work taken, no referral fees.
Do you need a site visit?
No site visit is required to start. Send the site address and any consumption data you have. The assessment is remote and evidence-based - satellite imagery and named, published sources. A physical survey is downstream: feasibility decides whether that survey is worth commissioning.
How much does a commercial solar feasibility study cost in the UK?
A full free report (one off) covers one building. A Single Site Assessment is £2,250. The Four-Site Pack is £4,950. Larger portfolios are priced per building with rates that fall as the committed estate grows. Priority delivery is +£750 for up to five buildings. No VAT is chargeable.
